Mid way through 2026 and so far I have completed an overland journey through 8 countries in West Africa, from Benin to Guinea-Bissau, via Togo, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. 

From 29 August I will be doing a rail and road trip through the Balkans in Eastern Europe, taking in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. This trip will start unfolding on the blog imminently.

After, I will be visiting another of my bucket list locations when I journey through Bolivia, Argentina and Chile, including a few days in one of the most remote communities on Earth....Easter Island.

2027 is looking just as exciting as I plan a return to Africa, this time travelling through six countries in Central Africa : Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo and DR Congo.
