From 29 August to 14 September, I completed a rail and road trip through the Balkans in Eastern Europe, taking in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. This is still available to read. To see individual days of the trip, use the drop down menu in the top right.
From 23 September, I will be visiting another of my bucket list locations when I journey through Bolivia, Argentina and Chile, including a few days in one of the most remote communities on Earth....Easter Island. Once this trip commences, I will remove details of the Balkans.
I currently plan a return to Africa in March 2027, this time travelling through six countries in Central Africa : Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo and DR Congo. As we speak, I am not sure whether all this trip will go ahead, due to the ongoing Ebola crisis in the Congo region, and armed conflicts in DR Congo and Central African Republic.
On more safe ground, I intend to visit Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania next summer.
